In the corporate landscape, being busy doesn't necessarily mean making a lasting impact. We often find ourselves caught up in a whirlwind of activities and 'essential' meetings. But let me ask you this: Are all those actions and meetings truly adding value? ๐คIf you've thought about this before; are you evaluating your actions and meetings regularly? And when you realize that something no longer adds value, what's your next move? For me, it's not about doing 'less' just because I'm 'busy.' It's about finding innovative ways to create value, because being busy is not the same as making an impact. ๐ก#customersuccess #value #makeachange

You can get SO much done in a 15 minute meeting; a few moments to build rapport then jump back into it. 1 hour meetings are INSANELY costly; if theres 5 people in the meeting and you all make $25 an hour; that cost the company $125.Now when its executives, C-suite, and they make $200 an hour; that cost goes to $1000Nice post!

Absolutely agree! It's all about quality over quantity. Being truly effective often means making strategic choices about where to focus our time and energy. Regularly evaluating our actions and meetings is essential to ensure we're on the right track and creating real value.

Are you prepared for the meeting before the meeting?Thereโs nothing worse than sitting through a meeting that isnโt productive or sitting through a meeting that could have been an email.Leaderโs need to stop wasting time and start valuing the time of their people.A lot of planning and productivity can occur prior to a meeting with key individuals. Take the time to schedule purposeful pre-meetings with the sausage makers so that everyone is prepared when the meeting happens. Donโt hold full blown meetings as a pre-meeting and then recap everything again in the meeting with the same people. Thatโs just a waste of time! This will make your meetings more valuable and productive, and your people will appreciate that you didnโt waste their time.Tell us about a non-productive or email meeting that you have sat through.#resiliency #leadershipmindset #personaldevelopment #careerdevelopment #leadershipdevelopment #growthmindset #growth #growthopportunities #maxwellleadership

In whatever business you are in, you or others are looking for efficiencies in processes. Things can alway be overlooked as you move through your day. One work item that gets overlooked is the amount of meetings you may have. Do you review them and see what are still needed? What the benefits are and are you really that busy?? ๐If you are a manager, you have to be available to your people. But if you are tied up in pointless meetings or meetings where you donโt need to offer input or could be summarized in an email, then drop it and show available! Itโs not a sign that you arenโt working.
