When is the last time you honestly answered the question "what's not working in my life?" ๐ Did you acknowledge your own answer? Or did you quickly change the subject of your thoughts?The best thing I ever did for myself was to acknowledge my answer to that question, which allowed me to recognize what makes me happy and stop chasing after 'shoulds'. The word itself sounds harmless, but holds sway over our everyday actions until you realize that anything you associate with "should" doesn't truly belong to you. Who says you should? Why should you? ๐คEmbracing the positive energy that comes with this realization has led me to some of the most challenging, but also the most rewarding changes in my life. Some Random Thoughts to improve yourself ๐Set higher standards for yourself. The way you act influences how others treat you. If you don't have standards, people might not treat you well.๐Use your money to create experiences and joy. If there's something you love or want, work hard for it and spend your money on things that bring you joy.๐You've already shown that you're worthy. Don't overwork yourself. Take a seat at the table.๐Seek validation when you've done something extra and want to be appreciated. It's not about being humble. Validation boosts your confidence.๐You deserve to live a fulfilling life. Don't underestimate your own worth.๐Your current routine works well for this phase of your life, but it won't be enough to reach the next level. When you're ready for the next level, make changes to your routine.๐Stop seeking permission. The world is busy and loud, filled with power struggles for attention. I used to be terrified of change ๐จ. I dreaded it, resisted it, fought hard against it. Why? Deep down, I believed my life's checklist was clear: study hard ๐, work hard ๐ผ, find a husband ๐, and live 'happily ever after' with the occasional vacation thrown in ๐๏ธ. Change wasn't part of the plan, and it always threw me for a loop, making everything seem harder than it had to be.But now? I see change as my lifeโs mission ๐. It's my job to change, to evolve, over and over again. Life is about learning from every experience and shedding old skins when they no longer fit. I realized the goal isnโt to reach a certain 'ideal' and stay there.
